Individuals with experience and skills in these or related areas provide a very worthwhile service to our partners in Ethiopia. With this, volunteers will also be expected to transfer skills through mentoring project managers/directors/staff or delivering occasional workshops on topics such as business English, human resources, reporting, ICT, securing funding etc.

Volunteers will receive pre-departure training and an in-country induction/handover from current volunteers. Accommodation is provided in both placements with our partners. Volunteers will have opportunities to travel to regional projects and to meet with other VLM capacity building volunteers based at other locations in Ethiopia.

This placement is for a minimum of three months with an option to extend to six months or longer. Departure dates are flexible. As with all VLM placements, volunteers are expected to self-fund their participation.
