WHY NOT SHOP TO SUPPORT VLM?

Chic and Cheerful, 4 Burrin St, Carlow town, Co. Carlow.

Chic and Cheerful is a volunteer-led boutique that sells new and nearly new clothing. All funds raised are donated to two Development Charities in East Africa – VLM and Love SHACK (Sick Homeless and Abandoned Children of Kenya). Chic & Cheerful is located in Carlow town on Burrin Street, opening Tuesday to Saturday every week.

Chic and Cheerful is staffed by local volunteers.

Chic and Cheerful has been created and is maintained entirely by a group of committed citizens -one of whom is a VLM volunteer – who are determined that their actions can make the world a better place. Their mission statement is “to free children in Africa from poverty, so that through love, support and education they can fulfil their dreams, ambitions, and reach their fullest potential”
