VLM is a member of the Vincentian Family, sharing its origins and values with many other organisations working for justice and continuing the legacy of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac. Click on the other organisations below to learn how they also share Vincentian charisms both at home and internationally:

The Vincentian Fathers, the Congreation of Mission, are the founders of VLM.

The Daughters of Charity, founded by St. Vincent de Paul with St. Louise de Marillac.

Castleknock College and St. Paul’s College, both Vincentian secondary schools for boys in Dublin, are also members of the family and participate annually in our schools immersion programme.

St. Peter’s Parish in Phibsborough, Dublin 7 is a Vincentian parish on Dublin’s northside, as well as being the home parish of VLM, where we are based in the parish offices.

The St. Vincent De Paul Society is an international movement aiming to  tackle poverty in all its forms through the provision of practical assistance to those in need.

De Paul Ireland support vulnerable people experiencing homelessness and marginalisation.

VLM USA is our sister organisation based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jessica Werner is the programme director and she recruits volunteers from all over the US to serve Daughters of Charity projects in Kenya as well as Ethiopia.

MISEVI is the European network of Vincentian lay missionaries, operating in a number of countries across mainland Europe.

The Fam Vin network is for all organisations on the various branches of the Vincentian Family. The Fam Vin website offers resources for learning about and developing the Vincentian ethos.
